Hardened shaft, recommended for use with outer diameter tolerance (k5, m5, n5 or p5).
[Features]
· In the ST type, the balls and ball cage are embedded in the inner side the of outer cylinder, which has been precision ground to ensure a cylindrical form
· The balls are arranged in a staggered form to that the load is equally distributed
· The ball cage is a machined cage made out of lightweight and highly rigid light alloy.
· A slide ring and retainer ring are provided on two sides of the internal diameter of the outer cylinder to prevent overrun of the ball cage.
· With this structure, it is possible to achieve rotating, linear and mixed action with a low friction coefficient.
· Stroke length can be up to double the range of movement of the ball cage within the outer cylinder
· Suitable for a wide range of applications where it is necessary to obtain high accuracy at a low price, including the ink roll parts of a printing machine, the work chuck of a punching press work, press feeders, the work head of an electric discharge machine, the correction device of a take-up roll, textile machines, strain measuring equipment, optical measuring device spindle, copiers, etc.
· Enables rotation with extremely low friction coefficient (=0.0006 to 0.0012) due to point contacts between the balls and ball rolling surface, and the separation of the balls within the ball cage.
· Since the cross-sectional profile is simply the combination of the thin-walled outer cylinder and the balls, the outer diameter of this bearing is small and it is suitable for lightweight and space-saving compact designs.
