· The external appearance is grayish black. Has the same properties as ceramic. Is relatively brittle so should be handled with care.
· The main raw material is iron oxide, making it suitable for applications where keeping costs under control is important.
· While having comparatively stable magnetic properties, the Hcj (coercive force) temperature characteristics are the opposite of that of metal magnets. At low temperatures the Hcj deteriorates, so if using in temperatures below -30°C it is necessary to be careful of low temperature demagnetization.
